The Golden State Warriors and Cleveland Cavaliers are in the middle of their fourth consecutive battle in the NBA finals series.
The Warriors are a super team and the Cavs are a rag tag mob powered by the best player in the world in LeBron James; and that raggedy mob nearly stole a precious win in game one today.
Unfortunately a brain fade from JR Smith cost them badly — he thought the Cavs had taken a one point lead with four seconds remaining from a free throw, and when he grabbed the rebound from the next free throw he dribbled away from the basket instead of passing to LeBron who had a free look or taking a shot himself.
Unfortunately scores were tied at 107-107, and the Warriors dominated the resulting extra time to win 124-114.
