Stage three demolition works are now underway at Wagga Base Hosptial with old structures coming down to make way for the final stage of the hospitals $170 million redevelopment.
Local MP Daryl Maguire says once this final stage is complete more than $450 million dollars will have been spent on the Wagga Base Hospital campus.
Outpatient clinics, Pathology and Allied Health departments have already moved into temporary facilities on site, and will continue providing their services while construction is underway.
