Police have appealed for information from the community after an armed robbery at South Kempsey in the early hours of Monday morning.
About 2:10am, two offenders, one armed with a knife, entered a restaurant and walked behind the counter.
One man grabbed one of the four staff members by the arm, and then by the neck, demanding cash.
The two offenders then removed a quantity of cash and fled from the premises in a white mid-1990's Toyota Landcruiser 4WD.
The two male offenders are described as wearing hoodies, gloves and their faces covered.
One man was about 183cm tall with a stocky build and a scar on the right cheek.
The second man was 178cm tall, with a slim build, blue eyes and was armed with a knife.
Staff were not physically injured, just shaken from the ordeal.
