The NSW Food Authority has issued a warning regarding Kettle potato chips after fears that the packets may contain pieces of rubber inside.
A food recall alert has been made today.
“Snack Brands Australia has recalled Kettle Sea Salt and Kettle Rosemary and Sea Salt from Coles and Woolworths stores in NSW and Victoria due to the potential presence of foreign matter (white rubber pieces),” a statement said.
The affected packets are the Kettle Sea Salt 175g and 300g, as well as Kettle Rosemary and Sea Salt 175g. Customers are advised not to consume these packets if they have a best before date of November 11, 2017.
If you've got some packets in your cupboard, you can take them back to the supermarket for a full refund, according to the NSW Food Authority.
