Basketball Wagga has spoken out this morning to correct misleading reports, suggesting the Wagga Blaze women's basketball team has had their number of preliminary games in the Waratah League slashed.
Senior Representative Director Darren Kuiper says the number of games for the Blaze is exactly the same as it has been over recent years.
Mr Kuiper also says Basketball Wagga has a focus on developing basketball from the ground up and and is fine with running our local players this year to build a strong base.
