Nick Kyrgios has gone one better at the Cincinnati Masters, beating David Ferrer to reach the final.

24 hours after toppling world number two Rafael Nadal, Kyrgios bested fellow Spaniard Ferrer 7-6 (7-3) 7-6 (7-4) to reach the final.

This one came much tougher, with Kyrgios winning both tiebreaks after neither player lost a game on serve.

Kyrgios will face Grigor Dimitrov, who beat John Isner 7-6 (7-4) 7-6 (12-10) in the other semi final earlier in the day, on Monday morning Australian time.

A win over Dimitrov would mark his biggest achievement in tennis yet, his first Masters 1000 title, and his fourth overall.
