Aussie binge watchers can soon expect Netflix to chew through more of their money, not just their time!
The company's been testing temporary price hikes.
The basic service jumps from $8.99 a month to $9.99, standard rises from $11.99 to $13.99 and the premium service goes for $17.99 a month (up from $14.99).
The price rises are only targeting Aussie subscribers right now.
While not everyone will see a price rise, it's clear there'll be pressure on the company to push fees up when the so-called "Netflix tax" arrives in 6 weeks.
It'll slug international suppliers of services and digital products online with the 10% tax.
A Netflix spokesman said: "Reports that we are testing 'weekend-only' pricing are inaccurate and entirely false.
"As our statement clearly states, this testing varies in length and time and the fact that some members saw this test on a weekend is completely unrelated."
