Nathan Wilson's preferred trade destination is Fremantle, the club has confirmed.
Wilson was one of three Giants to request a trade on Thursday afternoon, with the star defender seeking a return to Western Australia.
Fremantle has confirmed Wilson has nominated them over West Coast.
Fremantle's general manager of list management Brad Lloyd confirmed the news in a statement on their website.
"Nathan’s management has advised the club of his interest in returning to Perth and playing for Fremantle,” he said.
The 24-year-old, who has played 77 games for the Giants, led the league in total metres gained in 2017.
He also averaged 17 disposals, four marks and four intercept possessions a game.
