Luckless Geelong forward Nakia Cockatoo requires surgery on the knee he injured in last week’s VFL match.

Cockatoo suffered a PCL injury to his left knee in round 3 against West Coast, and reinjured it after 10 minutes in the Cats’ clash against Sandringham in the VFL on the weekend.

Cats coach Chris Scott admitted Cockatoo will need surgery in a press conference today.

It’s not all bad news for Geelong though, with key defender Lachie Henderson set for his first match of the season.

BT copped it from Billy Brownless for his Tim Membrey gags on the weekend!
