The Australian Electoral Commission has recorded a massive increase in enrolment transactions ahead of the Same-sex marriage postal vote.
Yesterday they recorded approximately 68,000 enrolment transactions - compared to an average daily insake of around 4000.
The commission said the majority were address updates.

Voters have until August 24 to update their details in time for the Government's postal vote on same-sex marriage.
Despite reports the AEC's websites crashed yesterday - the commission has confirmed the site is fully functional.
Ballot papers are due to be posted by September 12, completed by November 7 and a result to be announced on November 15.
