As of April 1st there will be a sharp increase in the cost of private health insurance. No, this is not a boring April Fools joke, it’s a worrying reality that may have slipped through to the keeper for a few people.
One person who hasn’t missed a trick on this increase is Greg Martin and it’s safe to say that he is less than impressed.
With the public health system already under enormous stress from the COVID-19 Pandemic Marto issued a stern warning of the repercussions of the pending increase.
Speaking from isolation this morning The Big Breakfast host didn’t miss with his criticism of the deafening silence from both sides of politics.
“Why would we want to put the pressure on the public health service right now?”
