Twenty-two years since THAT infamous bump, Mark Ricciuto has spoken to West Coast legend Dean Kemp for the first time.
Kemp was floored by a brutal hip and shoulder from Adelaide Crows star Riccuito during a game in 1996, with the former Eagles star retiring five years later sighting complications from numerous concussions throughout his illustrious career.
This morning, Kemp spoke to Ricciuto for the first time since the incident on Triple M Adelaide.
A Two-time Eagles premiership hero, Kemp has been asked by the AFL to present this year's premiership cup to Adam Simpson and Shannon Hurn should the Eagles triumph against Collingwood on Saturday.
