A 34-year-old Harlaxton man will face a Toowoomba court today after allegedl stabbing a woman on Saturday.
Police say the man forced his way into East Toowoomba home and stabbed the woman in the back before fleeing.
Officers found the man shortly after and charged him with a number of offences including wilful damage, domestic violence and grievous bodily harm.
The woman was taken to the Toowoomba hospital in a serious but stable condition.
The offender and the victim are known to each other.
