Man Charged with Drug Offences in Coffs Harbour

Allegedly Find Meth, MDMA & Cocaine

A man was due to face court charged with drug offences after a vehicle stop in Coffs Harbour early on Wednesday morning.

About 1:40am, officers from Coffs Clarence Police District stopped an Izuzu utility on Moonee Street at Coffs Harbour, to speak with the driver.

During a search of the vehicle, police allegedly located a large quantity of drugs, believed to be MDMA, cocaine, cannabis and methylamphetamine.

The items were seized and will undergo forensic analysis.

A 26 year old man was arrested and taken to Coffs Harbour Police Station.

He was charged with supply prohibited drug – commercial quantity, two counts of supply prohibited drug – indictable quantity and two counts of possess prohibited drug.

The man was refused bail to appear at Coffs Harbour Local Court on Wednesday 16 May 2018.
