Luke Hodge will contest his one-game ban at the AFL tribunal this afternoon.
The former Hawks captain was offered the ban after receiving his third fine of 2017 equating to an automatic suspension.
Hodge is only risking $2500 fine if unsuccessful.
AFL spokesperson Patrick Keane says the Tribunal will hear the case at 5.30pm tonight.
