If you live in the Lockyer Valley you'll be paying an extra $61 when it comes to your council rates.
The regional council has announced that rates will rise by 2.5%, and extra $11 going towards waste disposal and the remaining $50 to general rates.
Farmers will be hit worse forking out an extra $120 a year.
