Young South Australian leg spinner Lloyd Pope is already a cult hero with his flowing red locks and unique look.

But the main weapon in his arsenal is an absolute ripsnorter of a wrong ‘un.

Pope made headlines when he took his first wicket with one, and today he proved it was no fluke with more wickets today.

The took a wicket with his first ball today, picking up Sam Heazlett down the leg side:

He also utterly bamboozled Joe Burns, Jack Wildermuth and Michael Neser with his wrong ‘uns:

Those wickets are amongst six that he’s taken against Queensland, with his current figures sitting at 6/65 off 17 overs.

The kid can seriously play — he also took 8/35 against England in the Under 19 World Cup back in January.

We may well be seeing him playing for Australia soon.
