Grinspoon played an awesome show at the Enmore Theatre in Sydney last night.

It was so good that when Triple M’s Becko came into work and he couldn't hear a thing!

“After 20 years, this is the best Grinspoon have ever sounded,” he raved after the show.

“Bands often say that over time they are better guitarists with more experience and years under the belt… Last night was proof.”

Reuniting after a five-year hiatus to go back out on the road to celebrate the 20th anniversary of their debut album Guide To Better Living, the Lismore rockers played the double-platinum album from start to finish, including favourites like "Pedestrian", "Just Ace" and "Don't Go Away".

"Phil’s vocals were faultless, especially doing such a tough album on the voice. Pat on guitar just nailed it… He was just looking comfortable up there," said Becko.

“As for Joe and Kris, respect to you. The set was tight. Last night was a celebration of Guide To Better Living, 20 years… 20 years! Sounding better than they ever have.”
