Triple M's Hot Breakfast footy reporter Tom Browne says Daniel Wells has made an "incredible sacrifice" with his Collingwood contract.
Browne told Triple M's Hot Breakfast on Friday morning that Wells, whose two years at Collingwood have been besieged by injury, went back to the club of his own volition to re-negotiate his contract.
"That was guaranteed money," he said.
"It's an incredible story...he was just happy to do this arrangement this year."
