Today marks the nine-year anniversary of Geelong’s gutsy 2009 premiership win over St Kilda.

The two heavyweight sides threw haymaker after haymaker at each other, with the Cats getting over the line in a wet, cold thriller.

The Cats went on to win 12.8 (80) to 9.14 (68).
