Limp Bizkit front man Fred Durst is directing a movie that he co-wrote called Moose, according to Variety.

The movie stars John Travolta as a crazed movie fan who is obsessed with a film star played by Devon Sawa.

Travolta’s character — the eponymous Moose — ends up stalking the star, in a plot inspired by a real life experience Durst had.

In an interview with TMZ, Travolta said that working with Durst “may be my favourite experience I’ve had” working on a movie.

He also said Durst was “an artist” and “so generous”.

Filming is taking place in Alabama.
