With the 2018 AFL premiership yet to be decided, St Kilda great Leigh Montagna has given his extra early 2019 flag favourites.
As many would expect Joey acknowledged Richmond's body of work over the past two seasons, naming them as one of his flag favourites.
However, his next prediction was a bit more outside the box.

“I think they (Melbourne) should be equal premiership favourites with Richmond for next season,” Joey said.
“They are close to being a juggernaut, they’ve got everything covered in their game. They just need that belief.”
“I think Melbourne and Richmond are the two equal favourites for next years premiership with Essendon not far behind.”
