Katrina Hodgkinson Quits Politics

Member for Cootamundra, Katrina Hodgkinson has announced she will retire from state parliament, after eighteen and a half years representing the electorates of Burrinjuck and Cootamundra.

She says her decision is not based on any one electorate issue, but rather on her length of service, and that it’s time to move on to something new.

Taking effect from the end of this month, the decision will almost certainly trigger a by-election for Cootamundra.
