A 34-year-old man has been arrested in relation to an armed robbery on Monday night.
It's alleged the man threatened a staff member of a liquor store, who was called back to the business when the alarm was set off, with a piece of wood.
The man is alleged to have forced the staff member to open the store.
Esperance Detectives have charged the Kalgoorlie man with armed robbery.
He is due to appear before the Esperance Magistrates Court today.
