Tuggerah Lakes Police are appealing for witnesses to come forward, as they continue an investigation into the death of a man on the lake on Friday afternoon.

The 51-year-old suffered serious head injuries in a fall off his jetski at Chittaway Point around 2:40pm, and Paramedics found him floating unconscious and in cardiac arrest when they arrived shortly after.

He was taken to Wyong Hospital but couldn't be revived.

It was the second death on the lake in recent weeks after 44 year old REUBEN SHIPP drowned while kayaking last month.

Investigators from the Marine Area Command are now conducting inquiries into the circumstances surrounding the man’s death.

They're appealing for anyone who witnessed the incident or with relevant information to come forward and contact them on (02) 9320 7499 or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
