13 May 2017

Collingwood forward Jesse White was injured in the VFL team’s loss to Werribee in Wangaratta today.

White limped off in the third quarter of the game and couldn’t take any further part.

The Pies had earlier lost Tim Broomhead to concussion, and had Jackson Ramsay reported for a late hit.

Meanwhile, Mason Cox booted four goals in one of his best games.

The Pies kicked the first seven goals of the game to take a big lead in to quarter time, but Werribee dragged them back over the rest of the match to win 17.10 (112) to 15.11 (101).

In more encouraging news for the Pies, Matt Scharenberg and Callum Brown were amongst their best.
