Brisbane's Daniel McStay is out of contract at the end of the season, and there's multiple clubs queuing up for his services, according to Jay Clark.
Jay told Triple M's Rush Hour on Wednesday Brisbane has been "spooked" by the level of demand, upping an initial three-year offer to the key forward to a five-year deal.
"Maybe they misread the play six months ago," he began.
"However, I think that there is a $600,000, five-year deal on the table for Dan McStay to leave."
