Gold Coast forward Jarrad Grant has gone big in the NEAFL again, booting a bag in the Suns’ reserves win over NT Thunder.

Grant was unplayable, kicking eight straight majors in the Suns’ 19.9 (123) to 12.12 (84) win.

Some sources are saying Grant only kicked seven, but it would appear one of goals was incorrectly attributed to Jacob Dawson.

While Grant was a superboot up forward, arguably the star of the show Gold Coast’s Matt Shaw.

He had 39 touches, six marks, six tackles and slotted 3.1.

The game was in the balance at half time with Gold Coast leading by six points, but the Suns blew the game apart after that.

They kicked 11 goals to five after the main break to come out comfortable winners.

The Suns will play top placed Sydney next week for a chance to make the grand final.

The Swans finished top of the ladder with a 16-2 record and a percentage of 233.
