Gold Coast forward Jarrad Grant has had a field day in the Suns’ reserve team, kicking a bag in a tight win against Brisbane.

The much-maligned former Bulldog kicked a lazy seven in the Suns’ 16.15 (111) to 16.8 (104) win — including five in a massive third quarter.

AFL-listed Mitch Hallahan was best afield for the Suns, racking up 38 touches — including 30 kicks — 14 marks and 1.1.

Brisbane also featured several AFL listed players, including Josh Scache, Ben Keays, Tom Cutler, and Matt Hammelmann.

Schache kicked two goals from 13 touches, while Hammelmann kicked 3.1 from 11 marks.

The two senior sides are playing each other at the Gabba today, with first bounce at 4:35.
