Hawthorn defender James Sicily has been handed a one-match ban by the tribunal tonight.

He has been charged with serious mis-conduct.

Sicily was sighted for standing on North Melbourne opponent Shaun Atley at Etihad Stadium on Sunday.

This is Sicily's second suspension for the season, after copping a ban for kneeing Joel Selwood when the Hawks faced the Cats in Round 2.
