Jake Owen and his girlfriend, Erica Hartlein, are expecting a baby. The singer shared the news with his parents — and the world — during a TV special in the US I'm Coming Home.
"This will throw you guys for a loop," he said. "Erica and I will be having a little addition to our Owen family."
The new addition is due late Spring/early Summer of next year and while he's excited to become a dad for the second time, perhaps his parents may just be a little more excited.
Owen's Dad is hoping for a boy and his Mum, well she wants twins, after all it does run in the family with Jake having a twin brother Jarrod.
The I'm Coming Home special aired on Thanksgiving, Nov. 22 — Owen's older daughter, Pearl's, sixth birthday. Pearl is Jake's first and only child with ex-wife Lacey Buchanan, from whom he split in late 2015. Buchanan is also expecting a baby, according to a post on her personal Instagram page which includes "Big Sister" messaging from Pearl.
