Melbourne forward Jack Watts has been placed on report for charging in the VFL.
Watts, playing his second game for the Casey Demons, jumped into a marking contest late, collecting his Williamstown opponent.
The defender was floored and received a free kick.
The umpire later told Watts he was on report for charging.
The 25-year-old had earlier kicked the first goal of the day.
