An Ernst and Young report into the New Acland Coal Mine expansion is being slammed by those opposed to the mine.
The Oakey Coal Action Association have hit out strong saying it's nothing more than a PR stunt by New Hope.
The report that was released yesterday reveals that 940 jobs and $7 billion worth of economic activity would be on the chopping block if the proposed project didn’t go ahead.
Association spokesperson Paul King says this report wouldn’t stack up in the courts under proper scrutiny.
