This morning delegations from the three expansion bids will pitch for the ARL to become the seventeenth licence holder. The Dolphins bid from Redcliffe, the Brisbane Firehawks (backed by Easts Tigers) and the Brisbane Jets consortium from Ipswich will make their case to join the NRL in 2023 or 2024.

However, as it stands, only two bids stand a strong chance of being considered according to NRL insider Dobbo.
