Geelong defender Lachie Henderson has experienced another setback with his knee.
Henderson went under the knife back in October to fix an issue with his right knee.
But the 27-year-old once again experienced soreness in recent weeks, forcing him to undergo a minor arthroscopy.
Geelong general manager of football Simon Lloyd believes the procedure will keep Henderson out of football until January.
“While this is a setback for Lachie, it will allow him to move forward on a rehabilitation plan,” he told the club's website.
“Lachie will work closely with our medical team over Christmas with the aim to return to football early in the new year."
