Collingwood star Steele Sidebottom has left the field with a hamstring complaint.

Triple M boundary rider Neroli Meadows spotted the Pies star leaving the field late in the second term.

“Looks like Steele Sidebottom’s done his right hamstring,” she reported.

“(He) swore very loudly. He’s limping off at the moment, he’s very angry indeed, very frustrated.

“So (I'm) keeping an eye on him.”

Sidebottom returned to the field in the third term with his right hamstring heavily strapped.

He had racked up nine disposals and a goal up to half time.
