As if the Manly Sea Eagles didn't need to come under any more criticism, captain Daly Cherry-Evans was once again in the firing line after after an incident with good mate Jamie Buhrer.
As the siren sounded at full-time, after which the Newcastle Knights recorded a 18-12 win over the Sea Eagles, DCE was seen putting his hands in the face of Buhrer.
From the camera angles shown, it look as though DCE shoved his fingers firmly into the eye of Buhrer.
The Knights utility stayed down clutching at his face following the incident.
However, Cherry-Evans was escaped any chargers from the match-review committee the following day.
Well, this led to Triple M's Paul Kent and James Hooper unloading on DCE and the NRL.
