Much-loved Hollywood actor, comedian and writer Bill Murray just announced that he'll be touring Down Under.
Touring with friend, German-born classical cellist Jan Volger and "friends", the tour is based on Murray's 2017 album New Worlds.
The shows mixes classical music (Ravel, Schubert, Saint-Saëns and Bach) with writing from some of America's greatest novelists, including including Ernest Hemingway and Walt Whitman.
Hearing Bill Murray read American novels over European classical music might be a long way from Caddyshack and Groundhog Day, but still, it's Bill freaking Murray people!
And knowing that ripper yarns about the weird stuff he gets up to, don't be surprised if you bump into him in a bar in your city.
The tour features shows in Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane and Perth, with pre-sale tickets available from 9am Wednesday (Feb 14), with public sale starting next Monday (Feb 19) at 9am.
