A rental property in Henty has been destroyed by fire, with the male occupant managing to escape without any injuries, after being woken by a smoke alarm.
Firefighters from Henty and Culcairn were called to the Comer Street home at around 3.30am yesterday, arriving to find the home well alight.
The cause of the fire has not yet been determined, but it’s not being treated as suspicious.
