Fremantle star Andy Brayshaw joined us down the line ahead of their huge Friday night clash with Melbourne.
But JB had to be completely transparent ahead why Andy was on.
Andy did JB a massive favour by jumping on the show to replace Angus, who did a pre-recorded interview with us on Triple M's Rush Hour - and didn't even tell his bloody uncle he'd signed a new six-year contract, rendering the interview almost useless.
So we gave Andy - and Jim as well - all the time in the world to just straight up rip into poor old Gus.
"Yeah, saving his arse yet again," Andy laughed.
"It's always good to play against him, but yeah, he's kidding himself!
"I reckon he's more talented than me, definitely, beautiful left and right foot. But I reckon I've got a little bit more hard work about myself! He's gone to half back now, he's lost that in and under sort of hardness about him, so I'll give myself that as well..."
