Brisbane Lions defender Harris Andrews has reportedly been diagnosed with internal bleeding after copping a heavy hit from GWS forward Jeremy Cameron on Saturday.

The Herald Sun reported that the diagnosis came when Andrews was hospitalised on Sunday.

The Lions had posted that Andrews had been admitted to hospital after his condition worsened, but initially gave no details before confirming that he had internal bleeding.

Cameron is facing a lengthy suspension for the brutal hit, which left Andrews knocked out mid-air.

Peter Wright stuffed up an easy set shot on Saturday and JB lost his mind!
