A number of people are dead after a church shooting in a small Texas town.
A witness told local news outlet KSAT a man walked into the First Baptist Church at Sutherland Springs and opened fire at around 11:30am.
Police confirmed multiple victims but wouldn't provide further details or comment on reports children are among the deceased.
The FBI and local officers have secured the area and begun their investigation.
The church is 64km east of San Antonio.
It's America's 307th mass shooting for 2017.
