The first annual Great South West Bed Race was held last year and delivered great fun, pitting teams of local businessmen and women, sporting clubs, tradespeople, schools and anyone who wanted to enter against one-another raising more than $30,000 toward the development of cancer and cardiac services in the South West.
The race, is an entertaining spectacle of fancy dress and elite athleticism rolled into 2.3 km of competitive bed racing.
The Great South West Bed Race is organized by St John Of God Bunbury Hospital raising funds for cancer and cardiac services in the South West, bringing care closer to home for southwest residents.
