Swimmer Grant Hackett, who was reported missing by his father earlier this afternoon, has been found alive and well.
It is unclear where Hackett is and there are conflicting reports on whether he has made contact with his family, but police say that he has spoken to them.
Neville Hackett, Grant's father, spoke to media earlier today on the Gold Coast requesting public assistance in finding his son who they were "extremely worried" about.
