One of Australia's big attractions has copped the brunt of Google's facial recognition.

The Big Prawn over in Ballina has been stitched up by Google Street View, being blurred by their facial recognition software.

Because why the hell not? Every prawn deserves some privacy.

It was spotted by Reddit user greggobbard, who chucked the photos online yesterday.

The Big Prawn only cops the blurred treatment from certain angles, with its identity fully revealed further down the road.

Look, we don't really know either.
