Australian Emoji expert Jeremy Burge has tweeted something that anyone with red, grey or curly hair, or indeed NO hair, will probably get excited about.
Here's his tweet.
He goes on further to give an example of each proposal:
Red Heads
Grey Heads
Curly Heads
Bald Heads
Reports are the Emojipedia website, of which Burge is the founder, has submitted these new emojis to the Unicode Technical Committee of the Unicode Consortium (the organisation that controls emoji)
If approved, we should see them on your iOs and Android operating systems by next year.
What can we say? We'll let an emoji take care of it for us
