Gold Coast list manager Craig Cameron has declared Aaron Hall's appearance on North Melbourne's website as "interesting", but believes both sides can get a deal done.

Hall appeared in a video on North Melbourne's website on Wednesday welcoming the change in scenery, with the video describing him as a "former Suns midfielder".

The 27-year-old is still contracted to Gold Coast.

"He publicly committed himself (to North Melbourne) on their website, didn't he, which was interesting," Cameron told Trade Radio.

"It's unusual, I think, don't you? Prior to a trade being (done)? Well anyway, I don't want to go on about it."

Despite what happened, Cameron believes both sides can figure out an appropriate deal.

"I think we'll do a deal with North, we'll be able to do that quite comfortably during trade week," he said.

"I don't see that being a problem.

"We have started conversations. Nothing's been offered at this point."
