It's official... Gibson have filed for bankruptcy.
The iconic guitar brand, THE guitar of choice for legends such as Slash, Santana and Jimmy Page, to name but a few, announced the new via a tweet.
If what we're reading and interpreting here is true, then it may end up being a smart move by the company. It would seem that they're refocusing their efforts into what they became famous for... guitars.
Here's hoping things work out for the best. Imagine a world without Gibson guitars? It's enough to send any self respecting rock fan into the corner crying.
