Geelong Release An Update On Tom Stewart

He failed to play out Friday's game.

Geelong defender Tom Stewart has been cleared of any serious damage to his hamstring.

Stewart failed to complete the game on Friday night against the Swans.

Geelong have released a statement on Stewart's injury: 

"Scans have cleared Geelong defender Tom Stewart of any serious damage to his hamstring."

"Stewart left the ground in the third quarter of Friday night’s win over Sydney with hamstring tightness.

"The 24-year-old will be tested later this week before Friday night’s preliminary final in Adelaide."

Stewart hobbled off in the third quarter and did not return in the final term against the Swans.

The Cats will travel to the Adelaide Oval to face the Crows on Friday night.
