Say yes to Gang Of Youths with the announcement they will be the first act to play the Australian MTV Unplugged.
The announcement was made today by MTV Australia, with the event being hosted by Ash London in Melbourne.
MTV Unplugged is a rites of passage, solidifying the legend status for bands, like it has done in the past for Nirvana, Crowded House and recently Biffy Clyro.

The Sydney band are going from strength to strength and deservingly so, having been added to the Foo Fighters American tour, along with being in the first announcement of CalJam 2018 (read more here)
The Aussie’s debut album, Go Farther In Lightness has been riding strong with the band cleaning up at the 2017 ARIA Awards and more recently their homecoming show selling gangbusters!
